Located just off US Route 29, 14 miles north of Lynchburg and across from the entrance to Sweet Briar College, this splendid gated community includes walking trails, swimming pool, tennis courts, fishing lakes, fine dining, a wine & cheese shop, and a luxury salon.

Course Statistics

This 18 hole golf course was designed by Sam Snead and is already ranked in the top 50 courses in the Mid-Atlantic region.

There are five sets of tees with 6,243 yards from the white tees. The tees, greens, and fairways are bent grass while the roughs are bluegrass fescue. Breathtaking views of the Blue Ridge Mountains and splendid water features accentuate the course design.

All carts are equipped with Global Positioning Systems to determine your exact yardage and to summon the beverage cart.

Fees And Memberships

Founding membership initiation fee is $10.000. No-Founding-Level membership initiation fee is $7,500 and there is an under-age-35 level at $3,750. Dues are $150/month for an individual and $200/month for a family. Cart fees for 18 holes are $18.

Property Information

Lots ranging in size from one-to-five acres are priced from $100,000 to $250,000. Resale homes are available in the $350,000 to $700,000 price range. Patio homes and condos are in the planning stage.
